LED lighting distributor Stouch Lighting stated that it has secured an order from the Borough of West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania, to supply new LED luminaires to the municipal building.
The Borough of West Chester is replacing spot lights, wallpacks, parking space lights, and all interior accent, canopy and sconce lighting with energy-efficient LED technology. The LED luminaires will help meet the energy reduction objectives of the Borough of West Chester, while enhancing light quality and safety in the parking area.
West Chester Township secured the PA Conservation Works-American Recovery Reinvestment Act Grant, which offered essential financing for this lighting project. The Director of Public Works, Bob Wilpizeski stated that the new LED lighting will decrease energy usage and energy expenditures as well as enhance the safety in the Borough building. This is one step ahead in becoming more energy efficient, while improving productivity for the development of the community, he added.
Justin Stouch, who serves as the Director of Operations Supply & Service Chain at Stouch Lighting, stated that the company is proud about its participation in West Chester’s efforts to deploy energy efficient lighting solutions. This lighting project is a perfect illustration of Stouch Lighting’s solution-based approach, he said. The company could optimize the energy savings by deploying different lighting products of various producers due to the range of applications at the building.
