Waste King, a waste clearance and reusing company, has established a new arrangement inside its warehouse functions at its Hemel Hempstead headquarters, which enabled it to increase its existing recycling rate.
The waste collection and recycling services provided by the company include collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and providing site waste management plans (SWMP) and it also offers destruction services for confidential documents.

According to Glenn Currrie, the managing director of the company, the introduction of the new system increased the recycling rate of the company from 87% to 89%. He explained that though the company guarantees recycling a minimum of 75% of what it collects, it normally used to achieve around 12% over and above its claim. He added that the new equipment has assisted them to improve the record and enabled them to keep off more quantity of items away from landfill sites and contribute to keep the environment clean. In one of the recent waste collection contracts, the company has collected around 45 t of wastes and recycled nearly 94% of the contents.
Waste King currently offers a variety of waste collection and recycling services for the benefit of both commercial and domestic clients. The range of services offered by it include skip hire, wait and load, garden and garage clearance, general rubbish removal, shop refurbishment, office clearance, and house clearance. The services it provides to the companies include general construction, specialist renovation, interior design and property management and maintenance services.
