350Green, a business that develops a network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and Walgreens chain of drug stores, has declared its designs to construct over 100 public charging stations, which include 35 DC Fast Charging facilities in the greater Los Angeles area.
The company is taking this effort to make electric vehicle charging easy and to assist speedier acceptance of EV usage in the region.
The company will commence erecting the charging stations at the end of September. This EV charging network is an element of an all-inclusive effort to build the infrastructure needed to increase the confidence of EV drivers who drive the vehicles from the show room to roam around the region without undergoing a problem in recharging the vehicles.
Though the company has been erecting EV charging equipment in municipal garages and individual homes, large number of residents in cities without access to homes or municipal garage charging facilities were discouraged to take part in the EV insurgency. The initiative of the company towards installing a network of public EV charging facilities at a number of convenient and widespread locations close to the residential areas is expected to encourage thousands of residents to opt for EV as a viable option.
According to Antonio Villaraigosa, Los Angeles Mayor, Los Angles being the car capital of the world will support the network of EV installation in the region with initiatives such as $2,000 incentives for home charges and 7-day permit-to-plug guarantees.
