Car Charging Group, a Miami, Florida-based company, which offers electric vehicle (EV) charging services, declared that it has contracted an accord with Palm Bay located company, Laxmi to supply EV charging services at its hotel Comfort Suites, at 1175, Malabar Rd, in Palm Bay, Fla.

Car Charging Group, will erect Coulomb Technologies produced Level II, 240-volt, ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations for electric vehicles at the premises of Comfort Suites. The facility will enable the guests staying in the Comfort Suites to access and use the ChargePoint Network facility for charging. The network also will assist the EV drivers to charge their mobile applications such as the Android, Blackberry and iPhone driver support services and mapping services at the EV charging stations.
Car Charging Group supplies the EV charging stations to contracted locations without the need of incurring any costs for such installation by the property owners, thus enabling the EV users to plug in and charge their vehicles at a number of convenient locations. The company shares a percentage of its collected revenue from the charging stations with the partnering property owners.
According to Theresa Cecilio-Pye, Laxmi’s Regional Director of Operations at Palm Bay, identifying changing industry trends and taking them up wherever possible assists the hotel industry to survive and remain successful. He explained that the installations enable the hotel to provide EV charging facility to its guests without any investment while it will get a percentage of revenue generated for providing such a facility in the hotel.
