Plug-In Vehicle Solutions declared that as a distributor of Gexpro Electrical Distribution, it will distribute GE electric vehicles charging stations to business customers all over the nation.
Plug-In Vehicle Solutions (PIVS) presently offers total ordering and buying opportunities for municipalities, parking lot owners and facility and fleet managers.
PIVS will now supply the GE DuraStation EV charging station, a level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging facility that is easy-to-use and fast charging. The GE DuraStation EV Charger is designed to deliver total charging to a 24 kWh battery in a period of 4 to 8 h unlike normal charging outlets that may take 12 to 18 h to offer same level of charge. The installed RFID facility enables management reporting for a range of commercial applications and cost controls are needed to manage the fleets and ensure smooth functioning. The DuraStation offered in pole or wall mount, and pedestal applications can be configured to charge two vehicles.
According to Rick Stroud, COO of Plug-In Vehicle Solutions, customers look up to them to have a thorough knowledge of the issues encountered by them in assembling and erecting the EV charging stations. The agreement to give out GE EV charging stations through Gexpro will enable PIVS to serve the clients better by supplying the much sought after products while in future it will offer a competitive edge to the company. The company proposes to provide a total turnkey solution for the EV stations which includes distribution panel, charging units, conduit and the meter.
