Suniva, a US-based producer of crystalline silicon solar cells and modules, has declared that Sunetric has been chosen as the first Elite dealer for selling Suniva’s Optimus solar modules in Hawaii.
The Chief Executive Officer of Sunetric, Alex Tiller stated that the company is delighted to be selected as the only dealer in Hawaii for Suniva’s solar modules. Sunetric is pleased to support the solar modules, which have been fabricated with over 80% American materials. Customers will benefit by these affordable and efficient solar modules.
The ARTisun Select cell technology from Suniva is incorporated in its Optimus solar modules. Suniva has designed and produced these advanced crystalline solar cells in the United States, by means of low-cost methods together with advanced technology like ion implantation. This resulted in the availability of 60 and 72 cell modules that are both affordable and energy-efficient. Marine grade aluminum is present in all solar modules of Suniva. These modules are salt-spray tested.
According to Suniva’s CEO and Chairman, John Baumstark, the company is leading the industry with its solar products that are manufactured using modern processing methods. The company’s partnership with Sunetric offers the US solar technology to residential and commercial customers.
Suniva’s modules will be demonstrated by Sunetric at the BIA Home Building and Remodeling Show 2012, which will be held from January 27 to 29.
