RMT, a renewable energy company, offered engineering, procurement, civil and electrical infrastructure construction for about 1,100 MW of renewable energy last year. The total EPC renewable energy portfolio of RMT comes to more than 5,000 MW with these projects.
The company conducted design, engineering, and construction for 13 wind energy projects in 2011. These projects were situated in California, New Hampshire, Hawaii, Vermont, Arizona, Oklahoma, Washington, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Utah. The company offered engineering, procurement, electrical and civil infrastructure construction services to assist in wind turbine installation on these sites. The completion of mechanical turbine, in-tower wiring, roads, underground collector systems, erection of tower, crane paths and pads, foundation for turbines, and inspection and testing were included in this work.
In addition, RMT had designed and built eight solar PV projects in 2011 which ranged from 2 to 20 MWp. The layouts of site, SCADA systems, AC and DC collector systems, and foundations were designed by RMT. The company also conducted the electrical system studies that are essential for interconnecting to the utilities' systems.
