OriginOil, a pioneer in the worldwide algae oil services field, has selected Frontline Engineering Australia, a provider of engineering services, to deliver an entire range of field services for its customers in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
As the first Certified Support Partner of OriginOil, Frontline will help algae producers and refiners to deploy, engineer and operate OriginOil’s breakthrough technology.
The VP of marketing at OriginOil, Ken Reynolds stated that Frontline has been selected for its remarkable field engineering and technical services. Mark Ellison, Frontline’s Managing Director, remarked that algae production is one of the new developing industries in Australia and has the capability to significantly impact the company’s carbon-neutral food and fuel production. Frontline seeks to play a major role in the development of this industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
Several commercial algae producers, including MBD Energy, are utilizing the benefits of Australia’s unique growing conditions related to land and sunlight. In addition, they receive great support from the local government and major algal research institutes, including University of Queensland and James Cook University.
