AE Solar Energy, a provider of reliable solar inverters and operations and maintenance (O&M) services, has been selected as a preferred supplier for ESA Renewables (ESA), a global solar PV company. ESA is now certified as a factory authorized service (FAS) provider for AE Solar Energy’s commercial and utility-scale inverters.
ESA has used PV Powered and Solaron inverters from AE Solar Energy for all its projects completed till date. Currently, ESA has several projects that amount to over 91 MW of solar energy generation for 2012. All the projects are in the U.S. and are in different stages of completion that range from initial development to construction.
AE Solar Energy’s inverters have been chosen for the projects based on two major reasons: different and complimentary product ranges, and reputation for lowest levelized cost of energy (LCOE). This enables ESA to select the best AE inverter for each project based on specific requirements. In addition, the solar inverters deliver different power levels, which range from 35 kW inverter building blocks to 2 MW integrated skids. This provides optimal stringing as well as design flexibility to meet the needs of large utility-scale PV projects. ESA’s work includes project financing, development, designing, building, commissioning, supervising, operation and maintenance for each project.
Steve Levy, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AE Solar Energy, stated that collaborating with companies like ESA Renewables will strengthen the company’s commitment to supply proven inverter technologies to the market.
