Car Charging Group Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in California

Car Charging Group which offers electric vehicle (EV) charging services has declared the expansion of its EV charging network at North California. The company provides EV charging services in association with Ace Parking Management, a company that manages parking. It offers the EV services to the facilities of Ace as mentioned below:

Level II, 240v EV charging stations, manufactured by Coulomb Technologies have been installed by Car Charging Group. These stations with SAE J1772TM connectors belong to the ChargePoint Network, one of the biggest networks of privately owned charging stations globally. The company provides charging services for EV drivers, which includes following a customer utility pattern, finance and usage of energy, providing payment flexibility, and facilitating reservation using the cloud-based software service plans from ChargePoint Network. By using ChargePoint’s driver support services, mobile apps and mapping services, EV drivers are benefited. The company will own the EV charging stations and ACE will share the charging services offered at their facilities.

The CEO of Car Charging Group, Mr. Michael D. Farkas stated that the number of charging stations is higher in California when compared to other states. As per the California Department of Motor Vehicles, around 90000 hybrid and electric vehicles are plying on road. As the EV drivers are increasing, the requirement for EV charging services is also higher, he added.

Ace Parking Management’s Vice President Mr. Matt Griesheimer stated that the company dedicatedly works for reduction of carbon footprint and movement of EV. He added that the company has made many installments of charging stations in San Diego city, the headquarters, Phoenix and Houston and is planning to install more charging stations. The company encourages businesses that support electrically powered vehicles, which are advantageous, both financially and ecologically.
