EnviroMission, a renewable energy company, has chosen Faithful+Gould, a worldwide construction consultancy headquartered in New York, to work with its global project and cost management services team to establish a 200 MW Solar Tower power project in La Paz County, Arizona.
The consultancy’s office located in Phoenix, Arizona will support the 200 MW Solar Tower power project, starting from the conceptual design stage to construction and operation of the station.
Under the power purchase agreement (PPA) signed by EnviroMission and the Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA), the renewable energy generated by the La Paz Solar Tower grid connected power station will be sold to SCPPA.
Adrian Smith, Technical Director of Faithful+Gould, stated that the appointment of Faithful+Gould at the initial development stage of the La Paz solar project will offer the company a high level of rights and authority to take early technical decisions related to environmental and situational conditions of project development. The project signifies a new renewable energy advancement in the power sector, added Smith.
EnviroMission’s Executive Chairman and President, Roger Davey, remarked that Faithful+Gould has been selected for the project and cost management services team, as it has a record of providing excellent constructive expertise for more than 60 years, dedicated to innovation, and has a progressive business approach.
