The Graphic Systems Division of FUJIFILM North America has decided to install Conergy’s PH 235P panels as an attempt to save expenses and support sustainability. The solar system has been installed at North Kansas City in the Missouri production unit. It was installed by Brightergy, a local clean-energy integrator.
The solar system includes 216 modules that will generate approximately 60,000 kWh per year, which is equal to eliminating 600 cars per year.
Fujifilm will save considerable expenditure on energy use and will benefit through the utilities net energy metering program. The company has targeted to reduce 30% of CO2 emissions by financial year 2020.
The CEO and President of FUJIFILM North America, Ray Hosoda stated that the solar system at North Kansas is the second installation and the first was installed at the company’s Hawaii unit in 2011.
The Regional Account Manager of Conergy, Simone Baeurer commented that both Fujifilm and Brightergy have made a suitable choice by selecting Conergy’s solar systems. The PH module provides excellent efficiency, value and consistency. Conergy’s modules are cost efficient, lasts longer, and are ideal for commercial usage.
