Hanwha Solar, a producer of solar cells and other products, has installed its solar panels at the VISION House exhibited in the INNOVENTIONS, Epcot, Walt Disney World Resort.
The solar modules and the solar carport are installed at the roof and outside of the house, respectively.
The VISION House is a model home for sustainable practices. The visitors will be educated about the practical use of green energy technologies. By a guided tour around the house, the visitors will know about the green products, design elements incorporated, basics of building science and sustainable practices to be adopted at their homes.
Furthermore the visitors gain knowledge on state-of-the-art technologies and products used for conserving water, automating the entire home, producing efficient energy, robustness, indoor environment quality and high-performance materials.
According to the President of Hanwha Solar, Hee Cheul Kim, the company’s advanced solar panels, which provide electricity to several houses worldwide, are installed at the VISION House to enlighten the visitors about the significance of the solar power.
Other advanced technologies and products featured in the home include EV charging stations from SIEMENS, door hardware and automation system from Ingersoll Rand, eco-friendly exterior systems including bricks, permeable pavers, trim, cultured stone and smog-eating tile roofs from Boral, solutions for ventilation from Panasonic, appliance glass products from Schott, sustainable cabinets and hardwood flooring from Armstrong World Industries, Water-conserving fittings, home standby generators, showerheads and faucets from KOHLER, ENERGY STAR certified home appliances from Bosch and much more.
