A 100-kW electric-motor with a 23 kWh battery serves as a power source for Ford Focus Electric. Following an integrated operation, the system generates 123-hp and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The Focus Electric can move at a high speed of 84 mph with a total range extending up to 100-mi on a single charge. The Focus Electric has 240-V home charging station that ensures full charge in about 3 to 4 hours. The Focus Electric will extend up to 20 h on a standard 120-V outlet.
