Green Automotive and Liberty Electric Cars have joined forces to use Liberty technology to transform vehicles driven by internal combustion engines into zero emission electric vehicles.
Liberty Electric Cars, based in the United Kingdom, develops special battery management systems and electric drive trains and offers full support programs for all kinds of electric vehicles. Green Automotive will leverage Liberty Electric Cars’ expertise to expand its presence in the European Electric Vehicle market and execute conversion operations intended for the North American market.
According to Green Automotive Company’s President, Fred Luke, the strategic path to generate revenues from electric vehicles is to concentrate on converting all types of traditional internal combustion engine-driven vehicles, especially passenger and mass-transit vehicles which have already cleared the tests of the US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard, into zero emission vehicles.
Liberty Electric Cars develops and markets electric vehicle drive trains for its own transformed vehicles and for OEMs, and concentrates on larger platforms. The company also offers, training, support and upgrades for users of electric vehicles across Europe and Middle East. Its E-Tech division, in collaboration with Tier 1 automotive makers, is working on devising advanced electric vehicle solutions.
