SiG Solar group, specialists in selling photovoltaic modules has declared that it is entering the LED lighting sector with its range of products. The SiG Solar LUX, a new business sector is providing street lighting and interior solutions globally with a worldwide patented technology.
The SiG Solar Group is likely to present its LED lighting products in Intersolar Europe to be held at Munich between 13 and 15 June. Meanwhile, the company will present emission-free photovoltaics-based video art project on 14 June, in the presence of artist Fabrizio Plessi.
Jan-Christian Schröder, SiG Solar’s general manager stated that the company follows its principle of distributing and promoting energy-efficient technologies at each stage of its business sector expansions. As 20 % of power consumption is utilized for lighting globally, LED technologies can be the suitable solution for saving energy resources. He further added that the company provides flexible lighting solutions to the industry and service providers.
SiG Solar LUX is in collaboration with German manufacturer to produce fluorescent tubes that can be used in interior lighting. DK LED is the brand name under which LED lamps and LED tubes are being sold by SiG Solar to Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. The LED lighting with strong plastic housing has lifespan of 50,000 h, dimming effect and convenient maintenance, and saves energy costs.
The LED street lighting products produced by SiG Solar under the brand name LOLA are provided with patented design and reflection technology. Using the scattering technique of LED, the lighting products uniformly distribute the light on the street thus avoiding glare phenomena and energy losses. This street lighting saves upto 65 % of energy costs and provides better range of vision on roads, using LED white light.
