“The FDSS is a breakthrough PV product that provides arc flash reduction along with the first interlocking disconnect system designed to ensure user safety that meets the latest ESA Canadian OESC Rule 36-214 standards for large 1000VDC utility-scale PV installations,” said Jim Peplinski, Bentek Solar’s Chief Technology Officer.

“The Bentek Solar FDSS is designed for 1000VDC utility-scale PV systems for installation with 1000VDC utility-scale inverters. The FDSS provides a single solution for five key system requirements,” said John H. Buckley, Executive Sales and Marketing at Bentek Solar.

Five Customer Requirements – One Solution (FDSS)

  • Recombining of input circuits or elimination of inverter fuses
  • Visible blade disconnects for incoming arrays (Complies with Canadian OESC rule 36-214 for 1000VDC PV products)
  • Over current circuit protection
  • Multiple NEC 2011 compliant load break disconnects
