‘Green Car Korea 2012’ is held from , November, 8th to 10th2012 by Gwangju Metropolitan City and introduced environment friendly and low-pollution technologies & products including Hybrid Car, Plug in electric car, Diesel car, Clean diesel car, Electronic bus, Fuel Cell Vehicle and others.

120 companies which come from 7 countries participate in ‘Green Car Korea 2012’ and 90 foreign buyers are visited for 1:1 export business consulting by Gwangju Metropolitan City and KOTRA.
Varied companies manufacturing finished car and car component including companies producing clean diesel component placed in Gwangju Metropolitan City participate in ‘Green Car Korea 2012’
At this exhibition, ‘Export Consulting with invited foreign buyers’, ‘Clean diesel auto technology seminar’ and other various additional events are run to exchange useful information and catch international trend.
In particular, Ministry of Finance and Economy of Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) in the Federal Republic of Germany has a business seminar concerning ‘Energy efficiency and Challenge & Solution of electric car and industrial car in Germany’ and ‘The business opportunities of Korean companies in Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW)’.
“Gwangju Metropolitan City is surely emerging as a core city of Green car industry by being selected as a leading city for electric car by Ministry of Environment and establishing GIGCA (Gwangju Institute of Green Car Component Industry Advancement) and KETI (Korea Electronics Technology Institute)” and continued “For Gwangju Metropolitan City , The 3rd Green Car Korea will serve as a momentum to grow up as a Center City in Green Car area by exchanging information and understanding current trend” said a member of Gwangju Metropolitan City.
