MyHome, LLC announced today it will apply its trademark full-service approach to the green renovation and construction markets. This means designing, supplying, and installing every part of a (NYC) green building project in a market that has traditionally been divided by niche service providers. This new initiative marks an ambitious challenge for this company ranked as one of the fastest growing in the nation by Inc. Magazine.
"Everybody's talking about going green, but they never mention the challenges facing today's builders," says MyHome President Mayan Metzler. "Put it this way: If you want to go green today you need to research first, talk to several specialists who understand the technologies, and then find contractors licensed to implement these technologies according to current LEED requirements. This is a very involved process for busy clients."
According to Metzler, even experienced construction managers have to waste time and financial resources searching for green providers and then outsourcing their services. MyHome's new approach toward green building eliminates all that with a well-managed turnkey infrastructure.
"We wanted to forget the obstacles and make going green easy for everyone," says Metzler.
Focused on energy savings and sustainable building, MyHome has even pioneered its own alternative energy line to give their corporate and residential clients a cut above the mainstream clean-tech products. For example, MyHome's geothermal direct exchange technology is clean, renewable, and 30% more efficient than anything on the market. This translates into 50% savings on heating and cooling costs while increasing property values up to $20 for every energy-dollar saved.
"The value of full-service thinking is especially high when you consider the bigger picture," Metzler says. "Going green means many things to many people, from construction site recycling to saving up to 90% on energy costs with LED lights. By making these options available in one place, we're able to cut the fat from a complicated process, saving the clients money and time."
