Sorubin, the leader in ‘next generation’ energy efficient aeration products for water treatment, has been named Sweden’s Hottest CleanTech Company. The prize is not only awarded to water companies, but for the CleanTech sector as a whole. Out of Sweden’s 5000 CleanTech companies, 50 were carefully selected for the list and Sorubin listed as number one.
Sorubin was awarded the honorable title as Sweden’s Hottest CleanTech Company in the magazine Green Solutions’ Full List of Sweden’s 50 Hottest CleanTech Companies earlier this week. Green Solutions is a globally distributed coffee table magazine and will be available globally for up to 6 months.
- This great achievement shows just how good we are. We think it’s important to underline that out of all CleanTech sectors, the water sector has showed the strongest growth. We have a great and experienced team meaning that we constantly manage to raise Sorubin’s level of market acceptance. This award also comes as a perfect prelude for funding our next bold step forward: to launch our global expansion plan. For the ensuing funding rounds, we will welcome both small private investors and medium sized business angels. We expect the funding to be fully in place before the year is over, said CEO Stefan Sandström.
The objective with Green Solutions Magazine is to highlight Sweden’s position as a world leading country for CleanTech companies and as a country to go to for when looking for promising CleanTech investment. It’s also a marketing window for Swedish innovation in the CleanTech sector. The people that compiled this list have deep insight in to the Global CleanTech industry.
- I learnt about this award just as I got on the plane in Frankfurt, on my way to Tokyo. We are most happy to receive this stamp of approval for our team, our product development and our choice of business strategies. We are especially pleased to be given this award by people with profound knowledge of both the global as well as the Swedish CleanTech markets.
