Greenroofs.com has selected the "2008 Top Ten List of Hot Greenroof Design Trends" and Publisher Linda S. Velazquez, ASLA Associate and LEED AP, and Design Editor Haven Kiers, MLA, will present the list at the sixth Greening Rooftops for Sustainable Communities Conference, Awards and Trade Show on May 2, in Baltimore, Maryland.
For the second year in a row, Greenroofs.com shares trailblazing and visionary projects from their experience in the design and news worlds - but new this year is inclusion of media and public opinion of the latest and greatest international design trends. Design Editor Haven Kiers says, "Our Greenroof Design Trends Survey was sent out to designers, greenroof organizations, manufacturers, and we've been busy tabulating all the very different responses."
The rise of green, eco-friendly agendas continues to proliferate across global industries and boundaries. "Amidst growing media interest and demand from public and private sectors, we're examining our environmental impacts on the Earth from a more integrated, holistic approach," says Linda Velazquez, publisher of Greenroofs.com.
