Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA), the U.S. subsidiary to Deutsche Messe organizer of the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology - HANNOVER MESSE, announced a long-term partnership with The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) to further grow CanWEA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition. In concert with CanWEA, HFUSA will promote CanWEA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition among a global network of exhibitors, delegates and attendees.
“The partnership with CanWEA represents a further investment in HANNOVER MESSE’s growing global energy event platform, as well as an important strategic business initiative,” said HFUSA President and CEO Larry Turner. “CanWEA’s strong reputation and wind energy expertise in the Canadian market is a tremendous addition to our North American industrial trade events and another opportunity to leverage HANNOVER MESSE’s extensive global network.”
“Deutsche Messe has a phenomenal track record over many years in producing wind energy conferences and exhibitions,” said Robert Hornung, President of CanWEA. “Partnering with such a well-established trade event management organization allows us to enhance the scope and diversity of conference exhibitors and delegates, and increase our reach internationally.”
CanWEA Annual Conference and Exhibition is Canada’s largest wind energy conference. Attendees are leaders in the wind industry that are dedicated to supporting CanWEA’s efforts to push forward wind energy industry policy, communications efforts and business development objectives. Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the CanWEA Annual Conference and Exhibition held October 27-29, 2014, at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal in Montréal, Québec. More than 2,000 delegates and close to 200 exhibiting companies from around the globe will attend.
