Heliatek CEO To Give Speech at Ecobuild 2014

Heliatek GmbH, a world leading company in the production of organic solar film, announced today that Thibaud Le Séguillon, Heliatek's CEO, will give a speech at Ecobuild 2014, the world's leading event for sustainable design, construction, energy and the built environment.

Ecobuild 2014 will take place at the ExCel in London from 4th to 6th March 2014.  It presents the entire spectrum of sustainable construction products for new build and refurbishment of residential, commercial and industrial building projects.

Mr. Le Séguillon will present during the "Advance on PV technologies" Seminar on Tuesday 4th March at 4:15 pm. From thin-film cells to organic solar film for BiPV, to the new application of PV-generated power for heating and hot water - this session approaches advances in PV technologies from a case-study perspective and asks what are the benefits and efficiencies these new advancements bring.

Heliatek's solar films, brand named HeliaFilms®, are uniquely positioned to meet BiPV specific requirements because they can be opaque or transparent in a variety of colors.  The films are ultra-light, ultra-thin and highly efficient under real world conditions. Thanks to three unique features they harvest the sun's energy at or above peak efficiency for longer daytime periods than traditional solar technologies: from full sun down to a tenth of full sun, such as on a cloudy day.  In addition, they can operate efficiently in any orientation, even when not directly facing the sun and only receiving indirect or diffuse light.  Finally, their performance remains stable up to 80°C.
