IREC Training Program Accreditation Awarded to Everblue for its Solar Professional Courses

Everblue, a leader in renewable energy training, recently received Training Program Accreditation from the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) for its Solar PV Installer and Solar Sales Professional courses. Everblue, which provides training programs in a variety of fields around the United States and abroad, is one of 42 training providers nationwide and one of only two providers in the state of North Carolina to receive this accreditation.

As the demand for quality training that yields high-skilled professionals increases, accreditation has become an important mark of distinction among programs that meet rigorous third-party and industry standards. At the heart of Everblue’s mission is its commitment to offering top-notch training that enables professionals to enhance their credentials, expand their competencies and skills, and improve their performance on the job. Everblue understands the importance of offering training that is recognized and accredited by industry credentialing bodies.

A member of the Clean Energy Credentialing Coalition, IREC’s unique credentialing program offers accreditation of training providers and certification of instructors and master trainers in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors. Increasingly, local, state and federal government agencies require that individuals working on government-funded renewable energy projects have been trained by an IREC accredited training provider.

Everblue was awarded IREC Training Provider Accreditation for the Solar PV Installer and Solar Sales Professional courses because these courses align with rigorous industry standards and teach to a specific job using an IREC-accepted job task analysis. Everblue's Solar Sales Professional training helps renewable energy professionals understand and communicate the financial, environmental and ethical benefits of solar power to potential clients. Additionally, in Everblue’s Solar PV Installer course, students develop a deeper understanding of how solar panels work and, through hands-on learning, experiment with effective troubleshooting techniques.

“We couldn’t be more proud that we are now an IREC Accredited Training Provider,” said Glenn Mauney, curriculum development manager at Everblue. “An IREC accreditation separates you from the pack and is easily recognizable as the standard in the industry.”

IREC Training Provider Accreditation is something Everblue takes great pride in receiving. Everblue will continue to provide the best possible solar training to its students so that they can continue to grow and excel in the industry.

Everblue, based in Huntersville, N.C., offers its IREC accredited courses in California, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.
