JinkoSolar Opens PV Module Factory in South Africa’s Cape Town with Annual Production Capacity of 120 MW

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., a global leader in the solar PV industry, today announced that it has opened a solar module factory in Cape Town, South Africa.

Located in 2 Evans Avenue, Epping Industrial 1, Cape Town, the factory covers an area of 5,000m².and has annual production capacity of 120MW. JinkoSolar invested a total of approximately USD7.5 million in the factory which is expected to create 250 jobs. Modeled after its state-of-the-art Chinese production facilities in China, the Cape Town factory will employ measures to ensure the highest quality PV module production process.
