ECC was recently awarded a 10-year, $4 billion Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) under a multiple-award program for the Air Force Civil Engineering Support Agency (AFCESA).
Under the contract, ECC will execute construction and engineering activities supporting the SRM of real property, such as facility renovations, infrastructure improvements and repair, and facility and infrastructure energy efficiency upgrades. Work will be performed worldwide, including in remote, austere, and hostile environments.
ECC has executed award-winning and excellent-rated construction, repair, and design-build projects for the U. S. Air Force (USAF) throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The company's USAF-experienced program management team is supported by seven best-in-class national, international, and SB/SDB team subcontractors, each strategically selected for their extensive expertise in SRM specialty services.
The Team's global reach and resources -- which comprise 34,000 people in more than 150 worldwide offices -- ensure the responsiveness, flexibility, and capacity to execute every task order, regardless of scope, complexity, or duration.
Manjiv S. Vohra, ECC's President & CEO, comments on the team and contract award, "AFCESA has a very important mission for the U.S. Air Force, and we feel privileged to be part of the team to help with this mission. ECC and our team members have a tremendous amount of experience, breadth, and capability, which we bring to this program. We are very excited by this program, and look forward to continuing our service to the U.S. Air Force with this important contract."
The Team is led by Brent Nixon, ECC's Executive Sponsor for USAF programs, and Jeff Leptrone, Program Manager -- both of whom served distinguished careers in the Air Force. Throughout Dr. Nixon's 26-year career with the USAF and private industry, he managed large-scale USAF SRM, MILCON, and related installation programs worldwide. Similarly, Mr. Leptrone's career also includes more than 28 years of large-scale USAF design, construction, and maintenance experience. Prior to entering the private industry, he served as Director of Contingency Support with AFCESA.
