Aperture Technologies, Inc., the leading global provider of software for managing the physical infrastructure of data centers, will be hosting an executive briefing with the EPA and an Aperture customer in Chicago, IL on May 14th.
Andrew Fanara, ENERGY STAR Product Specifications, Team Leader, EPA, will discuss government initiatives to reduce data center energy use. He will be joined by an Aperture customer who will review different ways to go green. The briefing will conclude with a panel discussion where Mr. Fanara and the Aperture customer will be accompanied by Steve Yellen, VP of Product and Market Strategy at Aperture, to have an open conversation on data center challenges.
Who:Andrew Fanara, EPA: Manages the ENERGY STAR Product Specifications Development Team, part of the US EPA's Climate Protection Partnership Division. He has been with the EPA over the past 10 years.
Steve Yellen, Aperture Technologies, Inc.: With over 20 years of extensive marketing and technology experience, Yellen has authored numerous white papers and technical articles, and has frequently spoken at industry conferences and seminars on both Data Center Management and Sales and Marketing Integration.
What: The Chicago executive breakfast seminar will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn from industry experts and speak with their peers on data center challenges including the pressure to go green and important regulations that may affect data center operations.
