PowerFilm, Inc., a manufacturer of high-quality, thin-film solar products located in the United States, announces the unveiling of their new LightSaver product line at the summer 2015 Outdoor Retail Market scheduled to take place from August 5th through the 8th in Salt Lake City, Utah.
A team of PowerFilm employees, including the founder and CEO, Frank Jeffrey, will be on hand and ready to answer questions about the new product line which includes the LightSaver, LightSaver Pocket and LightSaver Maxx. Individuals interested in the products will find them available for viewing at PowerFilm's booth BR727, located in the ball room of the Salt Palace. In addition, PowerFilm will be providing a sneak preview of its new, innovative products during a pre-show media event sponsored by the Outdoor Retailer Market.
PowerFilm's LightSaver products are durable, compact and lightweight and are part of a solar charging system. The smallest product in the line is the LightSaver Pocket which weighs a mere 3.5 ounces with a 2.8 Ah USB charger and is perfect for charging cell phones, tablets, MP3 players, camera batteries, GoPros®, GPS systems, etc. It features 1 USB Output and a multi-color (red/Green) LED that indicates percent of charge. The LightSaver weighs slightly more than the Pocket version at 4.7 ounces but packs more power at 3.2 Ah and twice the solar. Like the LightSaver Pocket, the standard LightSaver has 1 USB output and a multi-color LED that indicates percent of battery charge. It is perfect for charging the same items the Pocket will, but provides more bang for the buck from the solar panel. Loaded with 16Ah of power, the LightSaver Maxx comes in at a mere 1 lb in weight. The Maxx takes the basic functionality of the LightSaver but increases the battery capacity and adds a high power output for higher draw electronics such as laptops.
CEO and Founder, Frank Jeffrey, shares his excitement over the new LightSaver line saying, "PowerFilm is pleased to produce this new line of innovative products. These products will meet the increased needs of consumers for remote power by providing new dimensions in usability--reducing weight and packing volume by a factor of 4 compared to current available systems."
