ET Solar, a global, leading energy solutions provider, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, ET Solutions Istanbul, has completed the construction and grid connection of its first two Turkish PV plants, each 1.1 MWp.
The projects were initially developed by the owner, who has an engineering company in Antalya. With this cooperation, ET Solar’s team designed the project from scratch and amended the existing license in accordance with company’s design philosophy, reflecting its years of experience building plants all over the world.
“We began by providing our world-class PV modules, expanded into EPC, O&M services, and have now established our own, local subsidiary, ” Dennis She, ET Solar’s President and CEO, said. Both projects, located in Antalya, Turkey, were tied into the grid at the end of November, 2015, marking an excellent start for ET’s Turkish subsidiary, ET Solutions Istanbul, which was founded only last August.
The plants are powered by Tier 1, high-quality ET Solar PV modules, type ET-P672305WW/WB 305W, ensuring the projects produce energy at the highest possible performance ratio. In addition to providing EPC services, ET Solutions Istanbul also provided a two-year Operations & Maintenance contract for both projects.
These are first two PV projects built for the owners, who now wish to continue their partnership with ET Solutions Istanbul, and build over 10 similar PV plants in the same region.
“Straddling the continents of Europe and Asia, Turkey is a very promising emerging market for solar energy. We are well established, with strong local partnerships, and are in a position to create more and more clean, renewable energy for Turkey. ” Dennis added.
