Pentair, a global water treatment company, takes pride in announcing that it is now providing great-tasting, filtered drinking water to Target Field for the 2019 baseball season.
Minnesota Twins fans can carry their own reusable water bottles to fill up at the Pentair Water Filtration Stations to stay hydrated, simultaneously helping to minimize plastic bottle waste at the stadium—regarded as the “Greenest Ballpark in America.”
The new Pentair Water Filtration Stations are a natural next step for us as the official smart, sustainable water provider of the Minnesota Twins. Twins fans know us for our rainwater recycling technology, but now they can experience for themselves how our smart, sustainable water solutions can deliver great-tasting drinking water not only at the ballpark but also at home.

Across the Target Field, nine Pentair Water Filtration Stations are situated, each delivering the same filtered, refreshing water that Pentair supplies to homes, industry, and business across the world. Additionally, Pentair is offering reusable, celebratory bottles to choose fans at each game through the new MLB Ballpark app, where all mobile tickets are accommodated.
As it first opened for the 2010 season, Pentair’s water technology has been a vital part of the ballpark’s sustainability efforts. The Pentair Rainwater Recycle System has so far collected, purified, and reused over 19 million total gallons of rainwater at Target Field. The recycled water is used for cleaning stadium seats, watering the playing field, and presently the new living wall batter’s eye in center field.
