The upcoming conference “Fuels of the Future”, which takes place in January 2021, is the global key event to get updated on both the current discussion and future agenda on energy and mobility transition. Like in the previous years, the conference provides important insights into topics regarding renewable mobility and biofuels.
Many countries are currently in the decisive phase when it comes to new mobility concepts that have to combat climate change and to meet the needs of both urban development and sustainability requirements at the same time. Political leaders, scientists and industry players will come together to discuss transport and energy policy of today and the challenges of the future. Renewable fuels play a major role in this discussion, in particular because of the global trade of raw materials and the wide range of national biofuel strategies.
Therefore, the conference invites industry experts, scientists, consultants as well as representatives of NGOs and governments around the world to an online debate. The biofuel sector and representatives of mineral oil automotive and chemical industry, logistics and transportation sector, public service as well as science will take part in 15 sessions with more than 60 speakers on the five conference days from January 18th to 22nd, 2021. The sessions will cover a bright spectrum of topics like biodiesel and bioethanol innovation, European and national legislation, sustainability, biofuels in shipping and aviation, advanced alternative fuels, e.g., e-fuels, biomethane fuels as well as technology and market outlooks.
Every day, three consecutive online sessions (with interpretation into English and German) start in the morning and end in the afternoon, Berlin time (CET). Speakers will present their latest findings followed by a questions and answers session. The conference chat provides an opportunity for networking and business talks. The detailed agenda, the profiles of all speakers, the presentation of 40 conference partners, and the background of the hosting five organizing associations are available at www.fuels-of-the-future.com/en.
