MicroPlanet, a clean technology, energy conservation company, announced today it has received an order from the Company's Canadian distributor Greenvolt Energy Savings Corp., to supply $92,000 of its energy efficiency voltage regulation products for various installations in Canada.
"Over the last year, Greenvolt has completed several successful pilot projects with customers in Canada," said Bruce Lisanti CEO of MicroPlanet.
"The results of these pilots demonstrated that our products can substantially reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills. This initial order from our partner, Greenvolt, is a combination of commercial 3-Phase and residential systems. Both MicroPlanet and Greenvolt see a very large potential market for our products in Canada", said Lisanti.
MicroPlanet is working with more than 30 utilities worldwide, in addition to many large commercial accounts. The company has installed over 600 systems in pilot programs, which continue to return very positive results. 5-8% reductions in energy consumption in residential applications and 5-12% in commercial environments are common without requiring any changes in customer behavior patterns.
