DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions Launches Online Trade Show

In today’s economy, DuPont businesses are much more selective about the trade shows in which they participate, and customers are much more selective about the trade shows they attend. Even in growth markets like photovoltaic (PV) solar energy, the question remains – how can we do things differently to make our offerings visible to the broadest targeted audience, create greater awareness and engage the interest of more prospects?

DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions (DPVS) is seeking to meet this challenge in a creative and cost-effective new way – by inviting customers to participate in its first “virtual trade show” online.

Drawn from an array of exhibit materials developed in the U.S., Asia and Europe, the DPVS team developed a comprehensive internet-based exhibit designed to give visitors a real sense of the broad and growing DPVS portfolio. The website contains an interactive presentation, exhibit panels, up-close photographs of product samples, and quick links to product pages, literature and other resources.

As Sung Lee, global marketing manager, DPVS, states in her video introduction to the virtual trade show, “perhaps the only difference you’ll experience is the fact that your feet won’t hurt from walking the show.”

The trade show will be promoted through DPVS representatives, on the DPVS home page, and with an electronic e-mail “blast” to key PV industry contacts throughout the value chain and worldwide.
