Confused about the recently announced Cash for Clunkers program from Uncle Sam?
Beginning Thursday, June 25, Ford will dedicate a section on its Web site to take out all the guesswork on the program, as well as show consumers if their current vehicle qualifies as a clunker, through an interactive calculator. Once on the site, consumers can also find out how much in voucher funds they are eligible to receive based on the new Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle selected.
Ford Motor Company has more new fuel-efficient vehicles that qualify for the Cash for Clunkers program than any other brand and offers 20 vehicles across its Ford, Lincoln and Mercury lineup for consumers to choose from.
"This program is a win for consumers, the economy and the environment," said Jim Farley, Ford's group vice president, Marketing and Communications. "We're excited to showcase our fuel-efficient lineup of cars, trucks and utility vehicles to consumers that are able to take advantage of this program."
Consumers with qualifying vehicles can receive up to $4,500 toward the purchase of a new Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle, in addition to existing incentive offers.
From F-Series trucks to full-size crossovers like Ford Flex and cars including Focus, Fusion and the all-new Taurus, Ford offers a full lineup of new products for consumers looking to recycle their ride.
