The 2009 Green California Schools Summit is coming to the Pasadena Convention Center from December 9-11. The facilities are sparkling after completion of a $150 million expansion project.
As the USA's largest green schools event, the summit attracts decision makers from schools and districts throughout the state - but what matters most is that you have a chance to interact with them. Here are some of the things we're doing to make that possible.
- Exhibition: In addition to coffee service, we're bringing food service onto the exhibit floor. A green portable building will be on display outside the convention center, adding to the public impact of the summit. We will be repeating the popular "School Garden" feature as part of this outdoor display and also on the exhibit floor. The event program includes generous time slots focused on the exhibit area.
- Buyer/Vendor Lounge: Meet with school purchasers in this special exhibitor-only area. Green Technology staff are already working to sign up purchasers who will take meetings with company representatives to discuss their needs and learn about the latest products.
- Leadership Awards: Mingle with attendees at an evening reception honoring accomplishment by green school leaders and innovators.
- New this Year! Access to Registrants: Exhibitors will have access to contact data of registrants who have named the products and services they are looking for, and who have expressed interest in hearing from companies that offer them.
- Partners in Learning: Our Partners in Learning program provides meeting space to professional organizations involved in the green schools movement. Prominent among these is the State Allocation Board, which is responsible for determining the allocation of state resources for the construction and modernization of public school facilities. The Board meets each year at the Summit, and like all Partners in Learning Groups, views time spent on the exhibition floor as a key reason to meet during the event.
We are doing all we can to help you introduce your product or service to decision makers leading the most ambitious green schools effort in the country. Even in these challenging times, new school projects are in the pipeline, and advocates of healthy, sustainable schools are pushing forward. These are the people who will be at the Summit - customers who are best able to understand what you have to offer!
