Southwest Windpower’s AIR RV Telescoping Wind Turbine Towers from Power Up

Power Up offers a range of wind turbine towers. The AIR RV wind turbine tower is a telescoping model manufactured by Southwest Windpower.

The AIR RV wind turbine tower kit is available in packages comprising different components such as hex nuts, hex bolts, lock washers, flat washers, polypropylene clamps, cap screws, nylock nuts, tower base and upright assembly units, a yaw clamp pad and a telescoping tower assembly unit. The yaw clamp pad measures 2.6 X 5.9 X 1/16 inches in size, while the flat washer has an overall size of 3/8 inches.

The AIR RV wind turbine telescoping tower consists of about four lock washers in an overall size of 3/8 inches. This tower from Power Up requires different tools for installation, including wire strippers, pocket knife, wire cutters, allen wrench, spanner wrenches, turbine to battery wire and a soldering iron and solder. Some of the components are available from the company upon request only. Spanner wrenches are available in varying sizes of 7/16 inches and 1/2 inches.

The wind turbine tower kit from Power Up also comprises certain other components such as ring terminals, shrink tube insulators, butt connectors and over current protection units. The ring terminal is necessary for connecting battery wires, and the butt connectors are used to connect battery wires to the output wires.
