Global renewable utility firm Solverdi Worldwide has secured a key strategic contract from an undisclosed US environmental company for waste water processing. The deal comes with a value of $1.2 million in the first year and involves the commissioning of processing equipment by Solverdi at the client location by January 31, 2010.
Solverdi Worldwide’s strength lies in its ability to recycle waste water and direct it to client locations in the form of energy and raw materials. The company sees this five-year service contract as a springboard to further opportunities in many US markets such as Nevada, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio in the near term.
The installation work is expected to commence before December 2009, starting from Nevada and moving on to other areas depending on initial performance in the region.
Equipped with a licensed technology, Solverdi is well poised to develop renewable byproducts of high value such as fuels, steam and usable water from wastewater materials. The company is able to leverage its renewable fuels, solar energy and custom engineered equipment to distribute electricity for serving the uninterruptable power supply requirements of commercial structures.
Designed, engineered and installed by specially trained engineers and staff, Solverdi-owned systems are generally installed on the outer sections of a building and can be held enclosed within a 100 square-foot area.
Solverdi solutions are compliant with LEED and UL standards.
