Advent Solar manufactures a range of solar modules designed with the Emitter Wrap-Through (EWT) technology. These solar modules are made to suit commercial and residential applications. They provide high performance with reliability on power output.
The solar modules are manufactured to meet various quality and safety standards. The multicrystalline cells are well protected by Ethylene Vinyl Acetate sheets. They are also laminated in between tempered glass with high impact resistance and a multi-layer back film that is weather resistant. The frames of the solar panels are made of anodized aluminum alloy that are corrosion resistant, and offer higher level of durability. The bypass diodes, which are a part of the solar modules, reduce power loss triggered by shading.
Solar modules from Advent Solar consist of solar cells that are made using the Emitter Wrap-Through (EWT) technology. The EWT technology gets rid of grid obscuration, making the cells more powerful. There are different models of solar modules available from the company, namely the Advent 160, Advent 165, Advent 170, Advent 175, and Advent 180.
The Advent 160 solar module from Advent Solar has a maximum power rating of 160W. Its open circuit voltage is 42.7V and short circuit current is 5.37A. The maximum power voltage and power current of this solar module is 32.7V and 4.90A, respectively. The Advent 160 module from the company has a length of 1,620mm, width of 810mm and height of 50mm. It is made of EWT polycrystalline silicon with the size of 125 x 125mm and it weighs 17kg. This solar module offers a maximum system voltage of 750V.
