50W Aero2Gen Wind Turbines Generate Electricity in Low Wind Speed

ABS Alaskan supplies different types of wind turbines that include the 50W Aero2Gen model. This 50W wind turbine can charge 12-volt and 24-volt NiCad or lead acid batteries. This wind turbine is suitable for places that have low wind speed, which ranges from 8 to 15 miles per hour. The small wind turbine is suitable for applications in small yachts, low power land uses and for weekend yachtsmen.

50W Aero2Gen Wind Turbines

The 50W Aero2Gen wind turbine is equipped with a brushless alternator that features permanent magnet rotors and heavy duty stator windings. This small wind turbine is made of marine grade materials that are corrosion resistant. This wind turbine ensures that batteries are completely charged and maintained. It comes in both 12 volt and 24 volt configurations to suit different requirements. The 50W Aero2Gen wind turbine generates about 0.5 amperes at 12 knots of wind speed.

At 19 knots wind speed, the wind turbine produces 1.0 amperes, providing 24 ampere hours for a single day. The small wind turbine also has the ability to generate 1.5 amperes non stop at 22 knots wind speed. However, the 50W Aero2Gen wind turbine cannot generate continuous electricity in gales, yet can function safely. In gales, the wind turbine can produce up to 4 amperes, but irregularly.
