AIR-X Land Wind Modules Equipped with Microprocessors

Beyond Oil Solar supplies a range of wind generators manufactured by Southwest Wind Power. The AIR-X land and marine wind generators are equipped with a microprocessor to improve the charging capability of battery, to reduce the system’s flutter noise and increase the system’s performance.

The smart controller in the wind turbine controls the rotation speed of the blade to get rid of the buzzing noise. It enables peak power tracking to increase the output of alternator on the cubic curve and to provide energy to the battery.

AIR-X Land Wind Module

The AIR-X land wind module is designed with aero-elastic blade for protection against high winds. Its circuit checks the wind speed and slows down the blades electronically when it reaches the rated output and prevents fluttering noise. The charge controller of this land wind generator stops the charging at regular intervals to read the battery voltage and associate it with the voltage setting. Once the charge controller finds that the battery is charged, it shuts off the current that proceeds to the battery. This process allows any size battery bank ranging from 25 to 25,000Ah to be charged safely. The AIR-X stops completely when the battery reaches its charged state and it resumes its operation when the battery’s charge state drops below the voltage set point.

The AIR-X land wind module has a peak output of 400W at a wind speed of 28mph. It can be constructed in a place where the wind speed is 100mph. This wind generator from Beyond Oil Solar is available in two versions, 12V and 24V. Its housing is made of unpainted aluminum.
