Open Series Passive Cooling Heat Pump
The Open Series Passive Cooling heat pumps come in complete packages. These packages consist of the blower and compressor, both housed in a single cabinet. For those customers who have hot water requirements, options of desuperheater coils can also be supplied along with the heat pumps. These heat pump systems are designed to draw water from open wells. Once drawn, this water is reverted to a leaching field, a pond or a return well.
For the purpose of heating, the refrigeration circuit of these Open Series Passive Cooling heat pumps is utilized. However, for cooling applications, cold well water is discharged to a particular area in the air coil. The Open Series Passive Cooling of heat pumps is capable of generating hot water while functioning in the heating mode.
