Unlike other spas, a Bullfrog Spa does not have a large network of exposed plumbing underneath the spa. Instead, 90% of the spa plumbing is contained on the back of each JetPak®, which is actually submerged inside the hot water of the hot tub. With the plumbing submersed, any heat escaping through pipes is transferred into the spa water instead of being lost to the environment, heating the spa and recycling energy. Additionally, Bullfrog Spas are built with 100% closed-cell, full foam insulation to fully maximize protection against heat loss. Bullfrog Spas also reuse energy that is normally lost in other spa designs by recycling warm air from the equipment compartment to help heat the water in the spa.
