The Sunny Boy 3000US grid-tied inverter is integrated with a load-break rated DC disconnect switch and fused series string combiner. It has OptiCool and electronics enclosure, which is completely sealed. This solar inverter is made of outdoor rated rugged cast aluminum enclosure. Data collection and SMA communications are available as options. The Sunny Boy 3000US inverter is field configurable and suitable for positive ground systems. It includes a LCD display with different colors of lids.

The Sunny Boy 3000US grid-tied inverter has a maximum input of 3750W. It has a maximum DC voltage of 500V and maximum DC input current of 17A.
