Apricus Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors from Love’s Geothermal

Love’s Geothermal, a division of Love’s Heating & Air, offers the Apricus evacuated tube solar collector that is used for solar thermal heating. The solar collector absorbs heat from the sun and converts the energy into usable heat. A freeze resistant water mix or water is circulated in the collector to absorb the solar heat and transfer it for space heating, space cooling, or supplement hot water heating. The heat is transferred with the help of dessicant cooler or absorption chiller technology.

Apricus Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors

The Apricus evacuated tube solar collector comprises twin-glass evacuated tubes. The maintenance free solar thermal collector is provided in an easy plug-in configuration. The solar collector is suitable for use with mains pressure water, with a maximum pressure of 116psi. The frame of the evacuated tube collector is made of 439 grade stainless steel. As the evacuated tubes track the sun passively, the collector provides stable solar heat conversion.

The solar thermal collector, provided by Love’s Geothermal, can be used for both domestic and commercial solar water heating. The Apricus evacuated tube solar collector incorporates heat pipes made of copper to transfer the heat quickly. The heat pipes carry the heat from solar tube to the header. Other components of the collector include silver brazed copper header that resists corrosion. The evacuated tube collector is available with silver or black aluminum casing option.
