Northstar Energy designs, supplies and installs air source and ground source heating systems. As part of this service, the ground source heat pumps manufactured by NIBE are supplied by the company. The NIBE FIGHTER 1140 ground source heat pump offered by Northstar Energy is designed for heating industrial buildings, single and multi-family homes. It is available in different output capacities ranging from 5 to 17kW. This heat pump uses R407C refrigerant. It is equipped with a control panel with various functions.
NIBE FIGHTER 1140 Ground Source Heat Pump
The NIBE FIGHTER 1140 ground source heat pump incorporates an efficient compressor within the refrigerant circuit. It provides a heating capacity of 5.0 COP at zero degree Celsius (incoming cooling temperature) and 35 degrees Celsius (outgoing heating temperature). The refrigerant unit and the compressor are placed in a separate enclosure for easy maintenance and service. The compressor has double sound-proofing to provide efficient heating at low noise levels. This geothermal heat pump is incorporated with flexible hoses and circulation pumps. The heating circuits and heat source are joined at the top of the system for easy installation.
The microprocessor included in the NIBE FIGHTER 1140 ground source heat pump ensures safe and optimum operation. There is a two-lined LCD display to show the running time, status, and the essential temperature of the heat pump. This heat pump is available in single phase and three phase models. The FIGHTER 1140-12 single phase model has a recorded heating capacity of 2.5kW and emitted heating capacity of 11.5kW with 4.6 COP. It measures a height of 1,030mm (without adjustable feet), width of 600mm and a depth of 625mm, and weighs 200kg.
