Cathy Horton and Kim Novotney, founders of Nutek, suggest that Smart Green products, such as household lubricants, that are soy-based should be used by consumers who are committed in protecting the environment.
Nutek that is located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, has now introduced a new outlook to the category that has been traditionally influenced for the past 40 years by incumbent technologies and petroleum-based products.
Nutek is involved in providing improved technology solutions for household and everyday purposes. Nutek products are referred as “The Cans With a Conscience”, and they are sustainable products that provide customers with good cutting-edge results.
Smart Green Lubricants have been recently promoted by Nutek through a nationwide advertising campaign. These Smart Green Lubricants are sold by Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Northern Tool and True Value. Bolt Off advertisements now appear on billboards, the side of buses and kiosks in Washington DC, Seattle, Atlanta, Baltimore, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas and Cleveland.
A completely biodegradable lubricant called Simply Soy can be safely used near food prep areas and also near pets and children. The penetrating green lubricant Bolt Off reduces friction that prevents easy movement of rusty objects, bolts and nuts. Surfaces are protected from friction even in the middle of harsh climatic conditions by the usage of a green dry lubricant called Shield It. The multi-purpose lubricant called LubFix is used in houses that have creaks and squeaks.
