Brightwatts manufactures different solar products, namely, solar panels, grid tie systems, and off-grid kits. The 200 watt solar panel is a UL certified model that has an overall weight of 17.9 kilograms. This solar panel has a length, width and depth of 1,482 millimeters, 992 millimeters and 50 millimeters, respectively. The 200 watt solar panel is designed using multicrystalline solar cells in an overall size of 156X156 millimeters. These solar cells have a maximum conversion efficiency of 15.5 per cent and are embedded in transparent vinyl acetate.
The 200 watt solar panel comprises a tempered glass, a heavy-duty anodized aluminum frame and a backsheet. The glass and backsheet provide protection, thereby ensuring maintenance free panel performance. The tempered glass of the panel has the capability to withstand flying debris, high winds, ice and hail. The aluminum frame incorporated in the solar panel is resistant to corrosion. The 200 watt panel is also available with a weatherproof junction box and pre-mounted MC cables that facilitate easy panel installation. The junction box consists of three bypass diodes that provide additional protection to the solar cells.
The 200 watt solar panel generates a maximum power of 200 watts at a maximum voltage and current of 26.6 volts and 7.51 amperes, respectively. The short circuit current of the 200 watt solar panel is 7.90 amperes, while it has an open circuit voltage of 32.72 volts. The panel has temperature cycling range between -40 degrees centigrade and +90 degrees centigrade with a maximum power tolerance of +/-5 per cent.
