Hurst Boiler designs a wide range of biomass boilers. The Hybrid UF biomass boiler consists of different components that include air control dampers, under fire fuel retorts, a rotary air lock fuel feeder, ash reinjection blower, fire doors, watertube section, combustion chamber and cast grates. This biomass boiler utilizes biomass waste as a fuel and has a total moisture content ranging from 8 per cent to 50 per cent.
Some of the unique features of the Hybrid UF biomass boiler include a large steam storage capability, steam disengagement area and a large thermal storage option. All these features facilitate a safe operation and supply steam immediately or as and when required.
The Hybrid UF biomass boiler is specifically for applications requiring high pressure steam or hot water volumes ranging from 3,450 pounds per hour to 60,000 pounds per hour. It comprises a vessel that includes a boiler type water membrane and a scotch marine vessel.
The ash from this Hybrid UF biomass boiler is manually removed. This boiler from Hurst Boiler is suitable for heating applications in veneer dryers, veneer log vats, factories, greenhouses and lumber dry kilns. Hurst Boiler supplies several other biomass boiler models that include the Hybrid CG, Hybrid PF and Hybrid RG biomass boilers.
