Hydro-Temp offers Water Source Heat Pumps for Residential Applications

Hydro-Temp manufactures geothermal or earth coupled heat pumps for residential and commercial applications. The geothermal heating and cooling products for residential application are available as follows: water source heat pumps, radiant heating systems, pool heaters, ultraviolet air purifying systems, electrostatic air filters and dehumidifiers. The water source heat pumps are available from 1 to 50 tons.

The water source heat pumps available from Hydro-Temp incorporate single or dual compressor options. A single compressor system consists of a hermetically sealed single Bristol compressor. A dual compressor system comprises a small and a large Bristol compressor designed to provide heating and cooling in three stages. It uses the small compressor in stage one, large compressor in stage two and both compressors in stage three. These heat pumps have standard or oversized water and air coils. A microprocessor control board is added to the geothermal heat pump for dampering of zones or zone control.

The water source heat pumps have a desuperheater as an option to heat hot water for domestic purpose. They include electrostatic air filters to purify indoor air by attracting airborne pollutants, such as pollen, mold spores, dust, smoke, animal dander and household chemicals. These heat pumps incorporate variable speed GE ECM blower motor to provide even temperatures, to control humidity and for  ultra-quiet operation. They also include digital thermostats and kWh electric meter. The water source heat pumps from Hydro-Temp have a heating option of 5kW or 10kW and it can be installed in horizontal, vertical or split configurations.
