Green Systems UK supplies the BP Solar BP 380 solar module that is a multicrystalline model. The solar panel has the ability to provide higher performance for operating DC loads directly, and for general use. The solar module can also be used in an inverter-equipped system, with AC loads. The photovoltaic module comprises 36 polycrystalline solar cells. The solar panel can charge 12-volt batteries effectively in all climatic conditions.
The solar module is suitable for applications in grid-connected systems, telecommunications, water pumping, remote villages, and land based aids to navigation. The multicrystalline solar cells of the BP 380 solar module are laminated between 3mm low iron tempered glass and ethylene vinyl acetate sheets. The solar module incorporates a clear anodized universal frame. The photovoltaic module is provided with three output options, namely, two kinds of junction boxes, and connector equipped cables.
The solar panel offers repetitive cycling in the temperature range from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius, at a relative humidity of 85 percent. The BP 380 solar module provides a maximum power of 80 watts. The short circuit current of the solar panel is 4.8 amperes, and the open circuit voltage is 22.1 volts. The photovoltaic module, offered by Green Systems UK, features a maximum power voltage of 17.6 volts and a maximum power current of 4.55 amperes. The maximum system voltage of the solar panel is 600 volts.
